Default Leaded Racing fuel

My buddy gave me 2 gallons of 120 octane leaded race fuel. I want to use it for one race. I have high flow cats out of long tubes on an 02 ss. Will this harm my car or make my o2's go out? Will 2 gallons really f*ck up my car?

When you take it to the track just put a junk pair of O2 sensors in so that your good ones dont get damaged. the O2 sensors arent used at WOT anyway so no performance issues will arise. once you get done at the track just put your good O2's back on.

What mods do you have that will require 120 anyway?

Better mix it with 93 and the 120, and also im sure it will need to be tuned for that high of an octane fuel.
Do like 2 gallons of the 120 and like 3 gallons of 93 or something like that.

Do not use it! Depending on what brand of 120 your are being offered, it most likely will burn a lot slower then the 91-93 pump gas. Adding higher octane fuel will only cause you to run slower, not faster. If anything, you can add ONE gallon of 100 unleaded to four gallons of 93 will give you just under 95 octane. Which for an LS1 is plenty. Adding those two gallons of 120 to 10 gallons of 93 will yeild about 98 octane, not worth the trouble.

I ran 110 in mine for a while but only due to having a supercharger running 10 lbs of boost on a 10.5:1 motor, I could advance my timing about 4 degrees with race fuel with out detanation, I got about 2 tenths out of mine, but thats just due to the detanation fact on a supercharged engine, most people dont need it, my new motor will be pump gas friendly with its 9.0:1 compression.
