High Pressure on Injectors

High Pressure on Injectors I am running an external pump and regulator and 26 Lb injectors. Instead of upgrading to 30 lb injectors, why not just increase the baseline pressure some and edit the tables with LS1 edit? 
I did a search on "high pressure" but didnt find any reference to this subject.

Re: High Pressure on Injectors You could certainly increase the injector flow by boosting the baseline pressure up but you would also be forcing the injector to operate at a much higher duty cycle. Well into the 100% range I'm sure. This is not a good thing. You can only squeeze so much blood from a turnip.
Re: High Pressure on Injectors Increasing pressure requires less pulse width for
same delivered volume. The issues will be mainly
around idle and low throttle where dribbling or
short-pulse delivery inconsistency might add a
significant fuel offset or imbalance. Wide open,
you just substitute pump power for solenoid time.
Probably a good trade if you have pump capacity
and are seeing over 90% duty cycle. But high duty
cycle can also be indicating it's fighting the
line pressure drop already....

Re: High Pressure on Injectors under boost my fp goes to 75psi and i dont have a problem.. so you could definitely toy with it.. but if you have edit, why not skip ahead of all that and just get a set of 42# injectors so you will always have plenty.
