Is there a check valve in the outlet of a walbro pump? Factory regs do a good job of holding pressure but if there is no checkvalve in the pump the fuel will just run back down the feed line.

Turn the key once, and then push the stem (shrader valve i believe) on the end of the driver side fuel rail, and see if there is any pressure.
If there is maybe run some injector cleaner through it? Check your fuel filter too, perhaps it is a regulator...02's are in the tank i believe? And if it was the check valve, you should drop pressure quickly when you shut it off, so check that...keep the fuel pressure gauge hooked up and see what it does when the car is turned off, if it drops quickly that little ball in the check valve is probably worn out.

hello everyone i think i fixed my car i pulled the fuel pump and change the regulator and found some realy good hose and change that to and it seems to work pretty good the car at idel is 65-66 psi and full throttle its 60-62 psi i went for a long drive and its all good. oh yeah the regulator i used was from a chevy truck like 2002 i got the part from a parts store it was a standard or blue streek part the part # is pr 217 i will keep you all posted on how it works.

The hose that goes from the fuel pump to the out let on the canster. The hose i used was like the stock fuel hose its a flexable plasic hose that is good with fuel or slovents

Did you modify the canister that the pump sits in? There is a write up about cutting a window into it so there is a better supply of fuel to the pump pickup.
I noticed after I installed my Walbro that, when I have a full tank of gas my fuel pressure goes up around 70lbs, then slowly drops as the level in the tank deminishes. Stops around 58lbs at a 1/4 tank. Anybody else see this happen?
