Default Installing Racetronix Fuel Pump..going trap door method and NEED HELP

Hey guys, I'm going the trap door method with my fuel pump. Before i make my cut, I was wondering if I could get dementions of where the fuel pump would be for a 2000 Camaro. I've been reading up on this and some people are saying that the LT1 and the year 99 and lower have a slightly different location for the fuel pump. I just want to make sure my first cut is right on. Anyone have dementions for a 2000?

Thanks

the sticky on the top of the page has the pictures of the exact location for the access panel. generally its right on the edge of where the well drops and between the two ribs on the sheet metal

Look at my thread about the racetronix install. I have a 2000 and it's right before it comes down to the t-top sump.

Well I have it installed, and now I'm left with this wiring harness. What would benefit me to install the wire harness? It runs fine with the stock wires, just like some enlightenment

Heavier gage wiring = better/more current flow to pump = better pump performance

Plus with wiring upgrade you are now tapping directly off rear of alternator for more constant/steady voltage source...
