Default What fuel pump(s) are you high HP (700 RWHP+) guys using?

My recent FP issues got me wondering what other high HP guys use on their street cars? Dual walbros? Big single?

I wanna hear from the real street cars, guys who drive regularly. Highway, road trips, lots of in town, etc.

Thanks for any insight!

Do they offer like a 1 yr. warranty, lifetime or what was it?

Twin 044 Bosch with one on a hobbs switch. Great big single pump set-ups that will flow enough for +800rwhp will really heat the fuel up on a trip...especially if the fuel level is low...recycle fuel at 58psi will get H O T.....pump controller or a boost activated second pump is the best for the street.

Ya I think it was a 1 year warranty...

Lots of cavitation though here from the heat so if I had a choice id try a twin with hobbs switch too although i havent had any experience with it.

I have a Magnafuel 750 and its heating the fuel up pretty bad on the highway. I like the simplicity of the big single pump but the noise is getting old, and it blew some fuses today, presumably from the excessive heat.

I know there are guys who drive with this setup, one guy won 3rd at drag week last year running it in his vette. I wonder if a fuel cooler will remedy it?

I've got a fuel cell, so could I do 2 inline Walbros? Would they just be "Y"ed together to replace the big pump?

I am wondering the same thing. 2 255 inlines then wired together and y'ed together into the main line.

Twin Walbro's work really well but so does the large single external pump setup just 2 different ways to accomplish it. Some do not want the worry of if one pump craps out you don't know til it is too late. Where adding a fuel tank or cell and a large noisy external does not appeal to some.
