Opinions on Russell "ProClassic" hose & fittings?
I see a new Russell product line in the Summit catalog (new
to me anyway). It is rubber braided (nylon) hose similar to
AN stainless braided, but plastic. Says 350PSI rated for fuel.
What I like is, it's black; don't want blue, red and silver shiny
on my motor. Whole line of black fittings for it.
I figure a 5X safety margin for pressure is probably OK. But
curious if anyone's used this stuff, any problems like pop-out
etc.

Yes, its nice hose. You put your fittings on the same as with steel braided, but you dont get stuck in the finger 100s of times, or metal in your eye by accident!(done that before...) Its also nice b/c you can cut it with a really nice pair of rubber hose cutters( some types of small pruning shears would work too) being able to cut it this way keeps the lines a lot cleaner than cutting the steel braided with a cutoff wheel.. I agree with you about the black. Its a nice change. Looks good with the black fittings!
