Default racetronix kit

1995 z28

well my pump wouldent hold but 25 psi 27 with the vac line off

so i got a pnp kit new and installed it...running the car has 47 or so...and 42 with a simple prime...problm now is that when it was first installed it bled off quickly...it went to 0 almost instantanous...havent had a free day to mess with it in a while but it got better it was hard starting BAD....now its ok but still crank about 2 seconds to start sometimes longer..so today i put a gauge on it and its the same except when i turn it off now it SLOWLY bleads over about 1 minute from 42 to 2 or so...ive checked for leaky injectors...i also removed the return line as a friend primed it and right after it finished priming i removed it quickly and nothing came out at all...helt my finger there and still nothing...so it has to be leaking back into the tank...

i dont think its the connector on the end of the wabro ribbed line because its a newer design (from about 2 years ago when i got my last one) now its a slip, used to be use a clamp...i think its the walbro itsself...anyone else got ideas? or reccomendations?

its actually 43 with the line on and 47 with the line off...give or take 2-3...

and i specifically stated above that i checked for leaky injectors and leaky regulator both are fine...

I thought that was a common problem and may be the check ball in he pump. Try searching and you should turn up something.

well i like togive walbro the benefit of the doubt...ivee had 2 of their pumps before with no problems...i have no clue why this one would have a problem...

is there a way to safely test this? like putting pump in a bucket of gas and letting it pump then bleed off? ect? who can i call racetronix/nasty?
