Street car: Magnafuel 4302 or Aeromotive a1000??
This is for my street driven RX7 with a sumped tank. Which fuel pump is the better choice to go with? I will be doing alot of summer street driving and going to the track maybe 5-6 times during the summer.

The A1000 was also designed to be used on the street as well. I have always used the A1000 in all my vehicles from chevys to fords and they have never let me down. The one in my mustang has well over 30,000 miles on it and is still going strong. Both are good pump just do some research. My vote is for the Aeromotive unit.

The Aeromotive will overheat! Put the voltage/speed regulator on it at the very least and honestly it still wont be GREAT for DD! I used to drive my GTO 250 miles to visit my GF and the pump overheated real bad before the regulator and I would have to let the car cool for 30 minutes after about 120 miles of driving!

Trakday,
You must have had some other issue going on because I could drive my mustang till empty across two states with no overheating problems. And I wasn't using a controller. It's all in the install and setup.

Part of the problem was the way the feed and return were setup coming out and into the fuel tank. But I know of others who have had the same issues, for some reason I had problem after problem with fueling in this car until I finally ripped it all out and redid it myself. Then most of my issues seemed to go away! The GTO is a cluster of fueling issues!

i would get the bosch '044' pump but its not on your poll
same performance as the aeromotive in my book, oem reliability and noticably quieter
*edit*
or heck w/ a sump even twin external walbro 255lph's.. even quieter and cheaper and higher hp potential and you could do staged switching of the second pump
