Well i tested the gauge on my brothers lt1 today and the gauge is accurate. Why am i still getting bad fuel pressure. Can it be my fuel pump took a crap and is overpumping?

Overpumping?

There is probably something which is causing a restriction in the return system. It is normal to see apx. 60-64PSI at idle but 69PSI is high.

I have checked the return line and the fpr. I cut the trap door and i would pick up the basket once it was loaded with gas and told my bro to turn the key and the regulator seemed to be doing its job. Can the injectors have anything to do with it?

I have a 99 Ls1 Camaro . For what it’s worth With key on 60psi. Running is 68psi like yours. Full load 60psi . No drivability issues . Not sure if this coincides with GM fuel
pressure specs or not 🤷🏻‍♂️
