will SVO #42 LBS injectors work in LS1

i need 42 lbs injectors for my new motor. a ford freind of mine is selling a set if green top 42 lbs injectors he used in his fors i was wondering if anybody is using these or if they will even work thanks

if they are 42 lbs in a ford using 43 lb fuel rail pressure then they are much higher with a GM fuel rail pressure of 58 lbs and if engine is not needing that amount of volume you could end up with uneven pulse width control by PCM.
PCM works better when injector pulse width is about 3 mSecs minimum, thus if you go too large an injector PCM then might have to command with shorter pulse widths and the shorter it is the less contol the PCM has whereas longer pulse width is better control by PCM.

They will work. A word of advice though, if you are building a new motor start it up on the old injectors. Then when you are ready to tune, swap the injectors out when you put the first tune in it. If you don't you will run the risk of washing your rings out because the flow constants are considerably different.
