Default injector question

i had a thread about the 42vs60lb injectors and was wondering if 42's will be ok for about 6-8psi..... i will do the pump and hotwire kit but this isnt going to be a track only car....."all my buddies have those"
i will want to be a able to have a "little" driveability left after the sts intstall
maybee drive to work on pay day and cruise during the nice weather
i know there is only like 60-80 dollar diff between the 42 and 60 lb's new
i am at a loss what do i do guys

im just going with the 60's. Ive notice alot of people who have had 42's and then they end up goign with 60's anyways. So im just going to learn from them and go straight to the 60's.

I went with 60's just so I would have the extra if needed. with 6-8psi I seem to remember they are just about maxed out.

Do the 60s. This comes from a guy (me) who started at 42s to then spend money all over again (and lose money selling the 42s) to step up to the 60s. Plus you are forced induction and you will always want more boost and power. Trust me.

Default 99 frc injector question.

I have a non-zo6 and I put a ls2 90/90 and z06 heads and cam in it. Can I use the 60s and the pcm will manage them?

yeaaaaaaa.... your going to need a tune to reap the benefits of the injectors, or else you'll just be running rich as hell

The PCM will manage the 60s. But only after you tune for them. Do not install the 60s until you are ready to tune.

60 lb/hr injectors wouldn't be hard for a good tuner to handle...but as stated, you must be ready to tune directly after their install. When I made a small jump to 30 lb/hr injectors on my stock internal setup, it drastically changed my fueling across the board in the PCM.

Most people just swap them out in the parking lot of the tuner shop right before the tune. No driving on untuned pcm for new injectors.
