Default In tank fuel line

Found out what's wrong with my 2002 Z28. The fuel line between the pump and the top of the tank split. Question is, what to replace it with? I'm going to call around and hope some parts guy can help. Guessing the original line would be next to impossible to get.

Put the pump module in a pan of gas, fired the pump with my finger on the outlet. Gas bath Murphy's Law proved again.

Did some digging on the NET. Found SAE 30R10 is the correct hose. Now to find some NAPA has 5/16" PN H209, and 3/8" PN H210 but the store here does not stock it.

The guy at NAPA was wrong. H210 has nothing to do with 30R10 hose

Anyone know where to get 30R10 hose in 3/8"?

Nothing like talking to yourself NAPA part number on the 3/8" hose is NBHH213 in bulk or H213 in a 1 foot package. If they are correct.

Should have it Monday.

If it cost you $20-$25 per foot, you found the correct stuff.

$29.95! Ouch! Just broke the small hose going from the top of the pump to the jet

If it is the veturi line, just cut it off slightly & reattach it.

Do not test pumps in gas outside of the tank. This can put you in the burn unit at the hospital.

It's hard and brittle. No way to do anything with it. I'm going looking for something to replace it with. Bought some Tygon at a model shop yesterday. Going to the chain saw store today

you should be able to split it with a razor blade and peel it off.

i have been using fuel injection rated hose from the parts store for several years now with no problems provided they are clamped appropriately.
