Default LS2 Injectors - Ls1 Fuel rail?

Hey Everyone.

Ive got LS2 injectors and an LS1 fuel rail here. I took a LS1 injector and it fit into the LS1 fuel rail. Is there any reason i cant run the LS2 fuel injector with the LS1 rail? Other then the mounting tab difference of course.

My harness has LS2 injector plug's and id like to re-use the injectors if possible.

Thanks!

So I bought the FAST LS2 injector by mistake and I've a LS1. What extra parts I need to purchase so I can run those injector in my 02 Formula?

I know I need to buy the EV1 to EV6 wiring adaptor harness. Do I need to buy some spacer for the stock LS1 fuel rail since the LS2 injector are shorter?

we have adapters that will allow you to use a 48mm injector in a 60 mm application. This is an extension hat to the injector. All fuel rail mounts stay the same. These are high quality pieces made on a cnc lathe. We are coming out with them so you can use the ls2 ev14 Bosch in the ls1 and ls6 engines. The kit is $106.95 including the correct o rings to make it a plug and play. We also have the harness adapters for another $8.95 each. If you can use the ls2 injector as a drop in for the ls1 you will have the best injector on the market. IMO. Also, we have these available in rebuilt any size LS2 injector up to 60lb for $479.00 per kit including injectors, height adapters and wire harness adapters. Pic too follow soon

That's alot of money over there!!! You talking about another $150 investment. What's included in that kit, that's $106.95?

included is 8 machined fittings that goes between the injector and the rail. 16 viton o rings. I don't see any other way to use a ls2 injector in an ls 1.
Also, if you buy injectors from us and they are wrong we will take them back unless of course you use them.

So other than the kit, there's not way to use those LS2 injector? For example different fuel rail?

I rather spend the money for something that'll upgrade my setup, instead just give me more headache.

not that i know of. The rail cannot be lowered 13mm. However, putting in the Ev14 LS2 injector I would consider a major upgrade. This is the newest tech in injectors and IMO the Best injector ever made for a MPI setup. The Bosch 3 which is a great injector came out in 97, designed in the early 90's The EV14 came out in 05 designed in 03. Lets face it 12yrs of tech is huge. Plus the tuning is cake.

I use these rails with LS2 injectors. Fits perfect and also came with spacers if I use LS1 style injectors.
