Default need help on how to fix a pin hole in the fuel line running from the pump to the eng

some how my my fuel line got a pin hole in it i need some opinions on how to fix this because its pissing gas...

I'd go with tubing cutter at the pinhole and a
compression union.

Yep, thats what I would do also.

But, is it in the steel line or a plastic line coming from the tank?

If it's a steel line and you just want a quick temp fix. Cut off about an inch of 3/8 fuel line and then cut the hose length wise. Put it on the line centered over the hole and put a F/I style hose clamp around it. I would not use this as a full on fix but it will hold till you can either get a new line or get time to pull it down and cut the bad piece out.
