Default 42 or 60#ers??

I'm gonna be putting my APS kit on my T/A in late July/early August and don't know which ones I should get. I've heard 42 are easier to tune but if I get 60s I should be good for when I get a forged shortblock and crank up the boost. What do you guys think, buy 42s now 60s later, or just get the 60s and work the tune more? By the way, I'll be running the 8# springs that come with the kit for now but am gonna try and MAX the turbos out when I get a forged shortblock.

42's i do believe max out at like 550 id just do it once get the 60's

If you get 60's, you will run rich at idle if you dont have enough boost to equal out the fuel. People will bash that 60's are all in the tune of not running rich at idle, take it from me, I have a pretty damn good tuner and 60lbs on a mild application runs fat at idle...

I can get a car to lean misfire on 60's all day long. 60's are the way to go.

Well damn, somebody forgot to tell me that 60's can only run fat at idle. Mine run 15:1 on a 4.8! I must have done something wrong...

60# are the way to go they are cake to tune and has no bearing on what boost you have at idle there is no boost.?? You will need to make sure the rest of your fuel system is up to the task of your turbo though.

Who in the world runs boost at idle?!

For all you people saying 60s run rich at idle... is this something specific with the 60# injector, or what? People run WAY bigger injectors than 60s and have no problems at idle.

I guess I'll get the 60's and have room to up the boost. I plan on dropping in a Walbro 255 with the hotwire kit. Any ideas on what kinda fuel pump setup I'll need when I max the turbos out at around 16-18psi?

you wont get 16 pounds out of the walbro 255 and hot wire you will need either dual intake pumps or and external pump(dont cheap out on a fuel system do it once)look at nasty nates kits
