Default 01 Z06 fuel pump....

Hey guys. I have an 01 Z06 and am wondering what the limit of the fuel pump is. Here is what my plans are for the car....

Halltech CAI
ARH Longtubes
42lb injectors
dry shot - only running a 100shot.... For now.

I am hoping for around 380rwhp on motor and around 480rwhp or so on the spray. Do you think with the injectors, I will be okay with the stock fuel pump?

What are they rated at stock?

no, its just easier to install since its inline. and you dont have to drop the tank. man the ractronix kit is a little over 200, and worth it IMO.

From my little experience, u don't need to do any thing rather than adding fuel injectors with a rate of 32 lb/hr rated @ <= 45 psig.

Mandatory and going fast do not go together when it comes to deciding what parts you need. You can build it cheap, you can build it fast or you can build it reliable. Choose two.

You need to look beyond what is "mandatory" because if you don't, trust me, you'll wish you did. Do it right and get the better fuel pump, especially if you are gonna shoot nitrous.

not how I read it, I was meaning mandatory means just the basics you need to get by with, as in it is mandatory to run fuel, but 87 will "work" so it is not mandatory to have 93.

Basically you need to make sure you have all supporting parts, not just some. Thats all I'm saying.
