advice on removing injectors
By what standard have you determined the injs are the problem??
If they do need to come out:
1. Blow the dirt/crud off the intake, around the inj base.
2. If they are stuck in the intake, shoot a little WD around them, and let it sit for a bit.
he told me it could be a couple things:
1. A Bad MAF sensor
2. 1 or more bad injectors
3. A bent valve due to piston to valve contact.
4. 1 or more bad spark plugs or wires.
When we were down there we cleaned the MAF and it helped a little. I put NKG TR55 plugs and MSD wires on the car last summer (less than 4K ago)... but i didn't put the heat protectors around the wires. None of them are melted but my tuner said they could be messed up on the inside. I know exactly how to test them, but i've been sick and bed ridden for a week now.
So i'm going test all the wires (maybe check the plugs too... 5 and 7 are really hard to get to
) and i will remove all the injectors to have them cleaned and flow tested. That should leave just the MAF and a possibly bent valve. i'm sure fixing/replacing a bent valve would be one expensive and difficult job. what do you guys think? Trending Topics

That's exactly where you check the FP. Fuel psi off, WILl affect the inj flow.
Just because he said it was lean, DOES NOT mean the injs are at fault.
If he was "tuning", found a problem, and didn't look at the Fp, find another tuner... Maybe the next 1 will be closer to home.
