I have the S60 with true trac, 35 spline axles, 3.73 gears.....my car runs mid tens on the spray but this is with less than 500 rwhp through an auto (4L60).....no problems and I'm sure at my power level the S60 is just laughing at me.....does whine a bit between 30-40 mph on accel/decel but it's perfectly silent on the interstate

Ok this what want to see.. Dana 60 guys pushing power thru their tru traks and with autos. And while you are pushing 500rwhp and my minimum with my gate springs is likely 650 or 700rwhp still gives me a good idea. I don't have to turn up my power to 800 or more at the track if the rear end won't take it. Pretty sure can hit 9s at 650 or 700rwhp and that is plenty good enough for me .

I still think the S60 will be laughing at 700 rwhp in my opinion.....when this thing shows up in the crate and you lay it next to your 10 bolt it will all become very clear

so for street driven 1500 hosre vipers they run a spool? might be true. but some of that statement is BS.

there has to be something better. or something in the works

my truetrac has been fine. I did twist the axles when I 1st got the s60 2 years ago at 330whp. Stange replaced them for free, I put 4.30s in the car and its been fine. Added some noise with the 430 after the 1st track outing with the 430s but I guess its normal for a M6 on 28ETdrags after 6K launches.

What..how can you twist a 35 spline axle with 330rwhp? That don't make any sense at all.

Only way I can think of this happening would be if the axle was over hardened during the hardening process making the axle brittle. I have seen this happen before......

Lighter foot on the gas peddle all kidding aside how many 1500 hp daily drivers are out there? if so I can assure you they have had to make comprises in the rear of the car.....
