Thats a BS comment. We have absolutely no problem with discussing any products on our site. We DO have a problem when non-sponsors are having members promote their products and providing pricing and sales contact info. This directly competes with our paying sponsors, and is a benefit reserved for our paying sponsors. The guy in question was banned because he would not quit promoting those 8.8s on our site. We warned him several times.

ttt what kind of pricing difference is ther on an 8.8 over a 12"?

 

Depending on the options I believe it could range from $100.00 to $500.00 price differance. I believe that the 8.8 is only 20lbs heavier than a stock 10-bolt setup. How much does a 12-bolt weigh compared to a stock 10-bolt? I was told I could get multi-position relocation brackets on the 8.8, is this posiable with the 12-bolts? I have been researching this and plan on making a purchase in the near future. I will do it over the winter while my car is parked. This way I can sell my 10-bolt, 3.42 gear stock rearend and use the funds towards which ever setup I decide to go with. I am going to get more info on the 12-bolts so I can do a better comparison. Please feel free to give your opinion on these if you have one installed. I am not asking who to buy from but actual install and use information.

 

Strange 12 bolt was ~35lbs heavier.
