Default Aluminum Moser Center

Does anyone that has one drive it on the street quite often? I know the aluminum more directed for strip use just wondering how many of you drive it every day or every now and then? Have you had any problems? I drive mine on short trips into town and stuff and that's about it. Reason for the question is mine is going to be driven more on the street now than it has been in the past three years and wondering if I might need to go ahead and swap to a nodular or not. Thanks for all replies.

You won't have any problems with the aluminum center section on the street. It is a thru bolt design and is very strong. Bob

How many miles have you put on your rear so far? And is it still quite (no gear whine.)

I've probably put around a 1k on it since april 08. It has some gear whine, but 5500-6k clutch dumps will eventually take it's toll. It's not that bad though.

You will be fine driving on the street.
