right fluid for rear end?

80w140 will work fine... that's what I have in my differential. My 4.10 gears were getting noisy with 75w90, but are a lot quieter now with Redline 80w140.

how many quarts does are rear diffs take?
i am going to be using Red Line 75W90 Synthetic Gear Oil is that ok or should just use regular redline 75W90 and do i need posi additive for the torsen?

98 was the only year that gm offered the auburn posi unit so you will have to check your rpo codes to see(not sure what the rpo code is though)after that(99+)the torsen unit came standard on all ss and z28 models if i am correct
