Can I put in a mini spool..

Hey guys I have a 98 z28, and noticed I have a one wheel peel... I think there is an auburn posi? in the 98's stock my questions is can I put in a cheap mini spool for now? How many spline are the axle's in my car thanks

Do a search on here about mini spools. You will not read good things...

Axles are 28 spline.

i mean will it work its better than 1 wheel peel until I can afford a 12 bolt

weld the side gears to the diff unit if you are just looking to get by. Most of the mini-spools were designed for diff units that were open... not posi's.

If you weld the spider gears can the diff be taken out? or is it prety much throw away rearend after that????

Can that be done with an auburn posi unit?
