would you still get your Moser 12 bolt? I am expecting to exceed 550 hp eventually but want to get a rear end now that will last. The car is a daily driver and also sees track times. Think a ford 9 will work? Maybe a Strange 12 instead. I just want something that is streetable but extremely strong and not affect turning radius, clunking, etc..Don't know enough about rears to make a good decision and I am starting to see some complaints about the Moser 12. So any suggestions?

I would not buy a bigger unit until you're ready to get past 400rwhp, and running sticky tires.

I'm running a M6 with a 4.10 Eaton 10-bolt w/ TA girdle on Kumhos; I couldn't hook if I wanted to. I am at 330rwhp now, and when I am ready to seriously spend the necessary $$ to get to 500rwhp, the bigger unit is a no brainer.....but not until then.

It's your $....

If I did it over, I'd go with the exact same rear I have now. A loaded Strange 12 bolt. Sure it makes a few noises, but the security of knowing I can drive home is WELL worth it.

I'm still debating putting friction modifier in my Moser 12 bolt.. Its nice knowing it WILL spin both tires, but the noise on turns is pretty "noticable" The ONLY thing I miss about my 10 bolt is the light weight.. If I were to do it again, I'd definitely spring for the 12 bolt..

How noisy is noisy? If I can't hear it over the Dynomouth then I'm not to concerned? Can you hear it in the car or just outside the cabin?

If you plan on going fast, Plan on hooking the car. If you plan on hooking, Plan on Blowing the 12 bolt. If you want to hook and Book, I would say to atleast put a locker in it. I just put the spool in, It is not bad at all. I was a little nervouse about doing it, But It seems fine this far. When you go slow and try to turn sharp, You can feel it. But other then that it is fine
