I am trying to swap my rear end with another one but the backing plates for the brakes are different so I need to change those also. I have no idea how to remove the axles so I can swap the backing plates. Please help. Its late and I have to work tomorrow and this is my only car. I'll be out all night if I have to.

 

pop off the diff cover.

remove the 8mm bolt holding the big *** pin in (or block for torsens)

push axle in, remove c clip, pull axle out

repeat on other side
