Confusion on gears....

Confusion on gears.... I was told I have 3.73's by the previous owner, but I used the conversion chart that is here in LS1tech to verify and the numbers are off too much....I compared with 4.10 AND 3.23's and still no match...it is a T-56 LT1 97 SS...here are my numbers
2000 RPM's in 2nd Gear------25 MPH
2000 RPM's in 5th Gear------61 MPH
3000 RPM's in 3rd Gear------51 MPH
Any ideas???

i would go with the fact that you have 3.42s. If you want to know for sure then its time do change your differential fluid. I don't think anyone on here is the guy who sold you the car so you won't get an the absolute answer you are looking for.
