Default Holy crap my clutch was SHOT! *PICS*

So I started my clutch install tonight... found someone had stripped out one of the bellhousing bolts at some point. I'll have to helicoil it tomorrow. Also figured out where my rearend noise is coming from - My torque arm is sitting right against my floorpan and it's transmitting noise directly to the body. I'll have to do the BFH mod tomorrow. But wow, the biggest surprise was my clutch - It was in BAD shape. It never felt like it was slipping, but it HAD to have been. The clutch disc is paper thin and both the pressure plate and flywheel are severly warped. I guess that's what I get for running the stock clutch to 152K with 400+ rwhp Here are the pics:

Wow! Now that takes me back. My stock clutch felt good,to me, but whenever it started to slip a little on the spray I changed it, and it looked ALOT like that. A couple of spots on the factory flywheel got so hot it actually started flaking metal off. LMAO! On to bigger and better things right?

Mine looked about the same - maybe even a little worse.

You'll like the Monster.

I'm going to test my Level 3 out tonight at the motorplex - hopefully I don't nuke the rearend.

Let me know how you like it. Mine is halfway done but I didn't have anyone around to help me muscle the trans back in.

9 passes and it worked flawless. I highly recommend the tick master if you don't already have it.

Monster Clutches They're a sponsor on here. Got mine in tonight and it feels perfect. No change in drivability from stock, except I can tell it grabs a LOT harder.
