The Strange S60 is much stronger and slightly heavier. The biggest advantage of the S60 is it's torque arm mount. The S60 TA mount uses two through bolts just like the stock 10-bolt. This is superior to the Moser 12-bolt TA mount which uses four short bolts into threads in the iron housing. The Moser TA mounts need frequent attention (tightening).

Do they both come in 3 channel applications? Is one more prone to whining than the other?

Don't waste money on 12 bolt, buy the s60 and be done with it. Slight whine between 40-55mph, pretty common from what I've read

The Moser 9 inch is a great way to go to. It used the better 2 bolt design for the torque arm. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=145 Bob

the s60 is by far the best bang for the buck in a bolt-in rearend. it is available with 3ch abs as well, and is far superior to any 12 bolt. the S60 is actually less cost than the 12 bolt anyway... comes standard with 35 spline axles and the truetrac diff unit, factory style bracketry, sway bar mounts and end link kits, driveshaft u-bolts and Lucas gear oil are supplied even! I have the best deal on the S60 or any rearend for that matter. pm me or call for a quote.

S60 ftw over 9" or 12 bolt imho.

Flame away.

Actually the 9" is better if you want to change gears often. But if you don't I like the Dana better. It's also absolutely no hassle at all it's a direct bolt in (you just need 4 bolts and 4 nuts for the swaybar from a hardware store). You do also need a new driveshaft, but why make the driveshaft your weak link?

go with the S60 or a 9 inch. i have a moser 12 bolt and HATE it. bolts always coming lose! and the damn thing always leaks from the pinion seal. other then those 2 things ive never had a problem with it. but will be selling to get a 9inch here soon....

Best part about the s60 is it was a DIRECT BOLT IN! By myself, it took me 5 hours to remove old diff and have s60 in and done... keeping in mind I've never done the job before either.

The Moser nine inch is a direct bolt in, you will need a conversion u joint - Napa 447. Here is a link to it and there are installation instructions at the link as well. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=145 Moser ships these rears two days after the order is received. Bob

Another vote for the S60 it's the strongest of all of them, I have no worries with my m6.
