I took my car in today and found out my torsen differential is done! I need some help in finding which direction to go in. I have a 01 Z28 with tons of bolt ons. Auburn, Eaton, etc.... I dont have a ton of money to play with or I would buy a 12 bolt or a 9in. Need some advise asap!!

I suggest a locker (I run one on the street last 4 years)
how ever I think I have a Torsen unit laying around, I would have to check the shop to be sure, if so I would ship in US for 125.00 ( this is only the torsen unit not a complete diff.

just curious what did they say is actually wrong with it? I bought mine with a nasty howl and spent just over a 100 bucks on bearings, races, new cover, and fresh fluid and fixed it, and yes if its needs lots of work just scrap it for a 12 bolt or a 9" especially with more than stock power! prolly cost you over 2k no matter how ya look at it, unless someone out there has a deal i'm all ears if you can do the work yourself you can get the posi unit new for like 600 bucks with gears otherwise with labor you'll have about as much in it as a complete unit
