Look on your drivers side door for the tag with all the RPO codes on it.
You'll either find GU2 or GU5.

GU2 = 2.73 gears
GU5 = 3.23 gears

Set your emergency brake. block the front tires so the car doesn't roll. Put the gear selector in nuetral. Jack both the back tires off the ground & then mark where your drive shaft is & rear tire. Then turn the tire exactly one revolution. You should see the drive shaft go exactly around as many times as what the gear ratio is. Example 3 full turns & 1/4 would be 3.23's. 4 turns & a tenth turn would be 4.10's. I hope I explained this well enough.

Dear? If I read you right, 3.4=3.42's & 3.7=3.73's. What are you saying the drive shaft turns 3.4 one time & 3.7 the next time you try it?
