hey Bob got a few questions.

I have a 1999 T/A M6 H/C/I
solid UMI torque arm w/ crossmember mounted
adjustable panhard rod and LCA
stock rear springs
stock driveshaft

I see you use Pro Street gears, i am looking for a nice and quiet setup as i will see mostly street, sometimes track (more autocross then drag). are these the best for me?

also, if i have a stock driveshaft, do i need a specialty u-joint, if so do you offer that?

which is better for my application, the tru-trac or the trac-loc?

i am looking at the M9 with 3.73 option, 4 channel ABS/TCS

Yes, the Pro Street gears are the way to go. I know a guy with a Monza that runs in the high 4's in the 1/8 that still uses the Pro Street gears.

To use the stock driveshaft you use a 447 conversion u joint. However, the driveshaft will end up being one inch too shorter than the optimum length. Normally this doesn't cause a problem but I've had several guys end up with a driveline vibration that ended up being a result of the too short driveshaft. You can pick it up at your local Napa store. With your car having a manual transmission I highly suggest you pick the PST driveshaft option. The stock driveshafts break pretty easily and can take out the exhaust system when they let go. They can also put holes in the floors sheetmetal, which happened to me around ten years ago.

Let me know if you have anymore questions. Thanks. Bob

The trac-loc is the differential that I prefer to use. Truetrac's parent company was sold off some years ago, and shortly after that I started having customer's breaking them.

I can knock $100.00 off the total price if you do a wire transfer. If you want details on how to do it, send me an e-mail to brutespeed@gmail.com

Thanks. Bob

Just wanted to update my experience with a Moser 9" and PST driveshaft 1 year and ~5,000 miles after install that I purchased from Bob.

It feels like stock. I use this car for everything from grocery store runs, long distance highway trips, parallel parking in the city, etc and I can't even tell it's back there. To even hear any whine I have to try to listen for it, and even then, it's faint and only around 60mph. I would call it a light hum more akin to tire noise if anything at all. I have done launches with MT radials without worries. It was probably overkill for my application, but I consider it money well spent on peace of mind.
