I guess it could be, but it doesn't sound like gear whine. More liks whir whir whir. If that makes sense.

When it warms up, I don't hear it. Only when its cold, and more on decel.

seeing this form makes me think somthing is wrong.. my gears you can here like crazy once the rear warms up. If I let off the gas its not too bad. But man the noise is annoying.

Just changed the fluid, set the pinion angle to -2.

Still hear the noise. First part of the vid is in drive, last part is in reverse

Damn that is strange. Hope you get everything worked out. I have a new 9 inch in my car, no issues at all. Did you put the GM additive in it?

Wavetrac says no additives. So no, I didn't use any. Going to contact Moser this week.

Do they say how strong a Wavetrac is? Any power threshold, i.e. 1000 rwhp?

The Wavetrac should be able to handle 1000 rwhp, it does come with a great warranty. There just aren't enough Wavetrac's out in the field yet to know for sure just how much power they can handle, but I have a feeling they will prove themselves to be very stout. Bob
