I have a series 2 carrier and am getting 373's which are thicker gears for the 2 carrier. I wonder if that matters?

If you can get the AAM, they are basically GM factory gears, and when you install them there is much less chance of whine, mine have absolutely no whine. And they are easy to install due to the shims being much closer to factory gears. Also they are cut like a ridiculous amount of time to eliminate whine.

I have used several sets of Motive blue box. They have all been broken in properly and are quiet as a mouse. I have only installed one set of Orange box Motives, they were beat on fairly quickly, and have a slight whine over 50mph. My thoughts.
