right right. I will be putting it in my c5 and I said the 3.90's because its equivalent to the c5z transmission. ( c5z transmission geared much more aggressively than standard c5) but hey guess stepping up to a 4.10 wouldn't hurt. I just hear alot of ppl on here say the 3.90s are perfect for the c5. Most ppl prefer that than a 4.10 in a c5.

Thats cool. Gas mileage has been a concern with me as far as swapping gears. Glad some people say its not to much of a loss. Are you located in Windsor?

If you want a lopey cam, this is it. Top end pull is very good but it does lack torque. The gears made it a much more tolerable car to drive.

No other mods than gears between the two vids?
I'm glad you showed a second run after missing second and letting the Honda get ya
Very nice comparison, I hope to do the same later this season between 3.73's and my 4.70 spool Gonna go play with the 1/8th mile boys

i have a 94 z28 with just a few small bolt ons...headers,exaust intake, etc... it has the stock A4 TRANNY with the stock 2:73 gear and stock rear end ...how would my car react to a 4:10 gear with no other mods?

So what is your rpm redline?
What gear did you cross the 1/4 in with the 3.42 vs. 4.10?
thanks
You top out with the 4.10s in the 1/4 vs just having to shift into 4th with the 3.42s
wait ur at the top of 6th at like 115-120?????
