x2 *** some detroit lockers,spool for driveability and not ******* up you 6 speed.the locker made my t56 hard to shift and when it locks in the middle of a curve in the rain youll prolley sell it,i did.i wanted to kick the guy at moser in the nuts after he talked me into 35 spline and the locker. only options are locker, spool,or 1k for a wavetrack.

I STILL like my locker cause it only SOUNDS like its broke!!
Unlike my 2 10 bolts that were broke! Oh, and I cured those hosed out synchros w/faceplating.

Hey I know this is an old thread but I would like to know how that locker treats you now.
I just got done putting one in myself and it scared the hell out of me, lol I guess I have the same mindset as you did. I had a locker in old third member but it didn't do any of this craziness. Guess from what everyone is saying I just have to get used to it. Did it start getting more quiet over time?

As stated I ran Locked in a 9" for 6 years in the mid '60s,
ran one in the 7 1/2 for 8-9 years in the Y2K SS, now running one in a 9" in the SS and would not run with out one
