Default My Strange S60 just came in!

My new Strange S60 just came in Friday. I decided to get it through Midwest Chassis and I couldn't be happier with the service from Eric and Jason. I asked many questions through PMs and also when I called. They helped me out without hesitation! MWC is definitely a top notch shop to deal with!

The S60 has 4:10 gears, a Truetrac, 3-Channel ABS, welded on LCARBs, Chrome-moly yoke and has also been narrowed 3" on each side. I'm planning on applying POR-15 to the S60 to keep her looking good. MWC also hooked me up with the appropriate drive shaft from PST. It's a 3.5" aluminum unit.

My dad helped unload the S60 while I was out working. It was sitting next to my truck when I was done working!

Please excuse my mother's dirty office!

Now I have to decide if I want CCWs or Fikses and I also have to have the car mini-tubbed. Nobody said the hobby was cheap.

Very nice. Just got done installing mine. The welds and their attention to detail is second to none. Install was a breeze, bolted right up.

Looks very familiar... what axles did you get? The end sticker is totally different from mine... You can see my other S60pic thread. I've got the 35 spline S/T's.

I've got just the standard 35 spline S/T axles, I guess they might just have re-designed the logo on the end.

They no longer do the chrome cover. The pic of what you see there is their standard rear cover now.

I'm actually happy that I didn't get a chrome cover, either way I was planning on hitting it with POR-15, along with the rest of the S60.

You can still order the upgrade cover but Strange does not offer it with the S60 package deal any longer because of fitment issues. I have sold a lot of the girdles an no one has complained as of yet but I guess there has been problems.

I am glad you are enjoying this and can't wait to see the installed pics.

Looking good buddy. You're gonna love the look of the 3"/narrowed on each side.

You know of anybody running one of those with a Watts Link? I've thought of picking up one of those covers but I'm not sure if it would fit or if I would even need one.

As for install pics, I need to find a shop to do my mini tub first. Once that's done I'll be able to install the S60!

Yeah man, CCW's would look great with a deep dish.

I've had my narrowed 9" (3" per side) since around February of this year.

That's what I'm hoping! No picture thread for your car post-narrowing?
