Default has anyone else had very bad customer service with moser?

ok i bought my moser 9 in in 06,what i wanted was 33 spline axels with a true track, and to use my stock 3rd member.well i gave moser a call and got to talking with one of the sales rep and told him i was a bolton lt1 car with a 100 shot,he told me that the axels and true track wouldnt hold up to my car(WTF) so he talked me into the 35 spline and detoit locker.i told him ive never drove a locker before and he assured me it wouldnt be bad,so i payed and my rear showed up about a week later.i took it to my rearend guy(ray) to setup the gears with the locker.well ray called me the next day and said that the locker and gears wouldnt fit in my stock 3rd member the guy at moser told me it would fit no problem.well i gave moser a call back and the guy i talked to aggreed with ray that it wouldnt fit,so i bought a nodular iron case.well i finally got the rear in and took it for a drive and instantly thougth it was fucked up.the locker that "supposely wasnt that bad" was very bad with a 6 speed and trying to daily drive.so i took the rearend back apart and took the 3rd member back to ray to check out..he said its perfectly normal also i picked up a wicked vibration with the 9in.so here i was with like 3k in a rear and couldnt stand to drive my car.i called moser back and told them the story and they coudnt do anything but sell me a spooland assured me that there rearend wasnt makeing my vibration, they told me "the only thing that can make a vibration is the driveshaft or u joints" so i payed to get my stock ds 1 in longer and spicer joints.long vibration story short ive put 5 different ds's 4 different sets of wheels changed the pinion angle to the moon and back ,and bought adjustable lcas tryed every setting with them.i even put the whole setup in my 99 ss and now it has the exact same vibtration well a few days ago i had it up on stands and running it at about 35mph and i noticed the right wheel was moving about 1/4 to 1/2 in,i took everthing apart and the axel is warped.so i remembered the 10 year warranty on axels and i thought this is probley the vibration ive had since day one.well i called moser yesterday and explained everthing very nice, well the guy said they dont warranty against warpage i was so ******* pissed, after all the **** they put me through there not gonna cover there **** uped part. i told him i drive a bolt on ls1 with a 150 shot thats been to the track 4 times and ive never even dead hooked the car the axels should not be hurt.he said all they could do is after i ship it to them they can look at it and go from there and may can get me another one at a discount.
is it just me or would this make you very pissed off?
i will never buy another part from moser and ill tell everybody i no this story so maybe they wont order anything from them either.

That's like asking if anyone has gotten an STD from a hooker. IMO, Moser has the worst "after sale" customer service in the industry.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck man.

Not to be an *** but, I'm glad my moser was bought by the previous owner.

Sorry to hear this. Good luck in getting your situation fixed.

Seems for every good word about moser on here, there's seven or eight negative ones.

Go through a vendor when buying your rear, and if you have any problems, the vendor will take care of it for you. Bob

I think they have gone downhill ever since the owner died in a car crash years ago.

I agree... I'll go with Strange or another company. My 9" showed up with 2 stripped 3rd member studs, a smashed axle seal and it looked like they dumped a pile of metal shaveings into the houseing to make sure I cleaned it before install.

*** HOLES made me pay for an axle seal after the part number for NAPA they gave me netted a frustrated NAPA counter boy and customer.

The LCA mounts are positioned to the rear which required DA LCA's.

Other than that, it's been great... I think

See my thread with the mystery noise though

Guys, I sold over a million dollars worth of Moser rears at EPP, and I've sold a lot at my own business since we shut down Exotic Performance Plus, and I've had very few problems. The happy and satisfied customers rarely go on here. Bob
