Hi eddielb, they did it for $95 a set . One of the hardes thing here is to find the right material(tube) to build it.

I am getting all your pm's but as I mentioned before I cannot give a time frame at the moment. Making these would be something I do on my free time and with work being really busy lately and the holidays I haven't even had time to look at any of this stuff. Would I like to sell them, yes but I can not and would not commit to anything as of yet until I know for sure. When I do I will post up but please don't wait on me if you need to get your rear finished asap I never like to hold anybody up.

Do you have any better pics of the mount itself on the housing?

I don't. Once I had all the pieces made it went together fast and up into the car so I could get it to the track the next day. I may pull it back out this winter and make a couple of bolt on pieces to further brace the rear as well and if I do I'll take pics.

I know this thread has been dead for a while and I really haven't driven the car much but last weekend I got it out to the track and ended up going 1.49 60' on my first pass and then 1.46 on my second. So far its holding up great I will be taking on the rear this winter to inspect the mount and the rest of the rear end as the gearset I have in it has been unbearably loud from the start, just some cheap explorer 3.73s with unknown miles.

I'm glad to see someone else has incorporated the webbing that goes from the pinion to the axle tube, in to their torque arm mount.

As soon as I can find the time to mess with this 8.8 housing I've got, I plan on doing something similar to your setup. Bolt-in FTW!

Raising this thread from the dead to see if there has been any issues with your mount design.
