The rear pinion seal and rearend cover are starting to leak on my 02 SS. I picked up a rear pinion seal today at the dealership for $12. While I'm doing this, what else should I consider while I'm in there?
I was thinking about putting 3.73's, but will be going on a 1700 mile trip in about 2 months and am still up in the air.
Anything else I should do maintance wise whille I'm in there?
Thanks!

Currently dont have any big modding plans in place anymore. Over the winter, I was going to do a H/C/n2o/gear install.. But then something came up and I have to move 1700 miles away to houston in January, and I need something reliable.
With just bolt-ons, I dont need anything crazy strong. If someone offered me a Ford 9in, I'd take it, but theres really no need to buy something. I just want my 10 bolt to last and see what I could do to help maintain it while I'm already in there.
