Why would you spend the money on a driveshaft that's good for 1000 HP and keep the 10 bolt behind it??

Weight....the less weight that 10 bolt has to move the longer it will last. I've been a 11.1 on the 10bolt with a m6. I want to eventally get a 9" but it's $4000 for the one I want. I want it as lite as it can be made. So far I have broke 2 set's of 4.10's. Now I have 3.90's and they look stronger so hopefully they last longer.

I have the acpt too and love it!!! Much smoother too. Like Hio I am going for light weight to help my ten bolt live a while. I have about 100 passes on my ten bolt and this drive shaft foot with 1.6 sixtys and its hasn't missed a beat.

I put a PST Carbon shaft in my personal car and saved around 9 pounds from the Chrome-moly one I had in it using the same yoke.

HioSSilver keep in mind the drive shaft from a 10 bolt to a 9 inch will be different.

Got it from a member on here. Saved maybe 2-3 pounds??? But remember thats recipicating weight and its stronger. Got the heavy duty yokes which may have added weight. I even added the aftermarket panhard rod to save a little more. My car is light and anything sans of gutting it,I try to lose some weight here and there.

Cool ...I need one for a 10bolt m6. I hate to get one for the 10bolt....but I think it might live for a while with these 3.90's in it. I'm tryin to do what I can to get a crate ls6 to go 10's and be a a DD still, so all weight has to go but creature comforts has to stay.

best part is you also don't need a driveshaft loop or ever worry about your ds breaking and flipping the car over.
