With a full weight M6 car we would not recommend trying to push it beyond that level. Not saying I do not have customers out there that are beyond that point because there is but that is very close to pushing what they recommend for.

I have customers out there who are pushing well past 500 rwhp with the trac-loc, but I do not recommend it. I do recommend the trac-loc over the True Trac, as we began to see problems with the True Trac shortly after their parent company was bought out. This was back around 2005. I had probably sold over half a million dollars worth of Moser rears with the True Trac, it's a real shame it got messed up. Bob

Trac-Loc clutches unit? That's what I just transitioned out of. I put mine in June of last year and it was newly built with billet cover. Made 6-10 passes the end of last year and it burned two wheels. Drove it 3300 miles until the end of this year and made 6 passes all of which it was opening up. Took it back to the builder and watched him tear it down... clutches were shot. He said it is the turning that did it in but I didn't think 3300 miles was alot for any unit. Needless to say I went back with a Locker where I know I will get two wheel peel. I don't have time and money to waste on wasted track visits since go don't go much. If you don't mind pulling it every year they are great but what a PITA!

Trac loc is a decent posi for the money. If they are set up right they will last a long time at 300-400hp levels. I set mine up fairly tight and it works great, however, i'm only in the 330rwhp range

Yup. He shipped it to me with one bottle of Ford additive and direction sheet with how to break-in, etc...

I didn't put two bottles though. Is yours giving two wheel peel with some miles on it?

You will. Anything with clutches will wear out no ifs ands or butts about it. First track visit I was fine but second time Andy saw what it did in the burnout and told me. If you make turns it's wearing. Just pull it once a year and put new clutches if you want to keep it. I prefer just hit it and go!
