i've got an 8.8 housing with 10 bolt brackets welded onto it. i'm going to be running mini-laddar bars in place of the torque arm. i've got it completely bolted into the car minus the backing plates/brake assembly. i read on here that all that had to be done is drill an extra hole in the backing plate for it to bolt onto the mustang axle ends. with one out of 4 bolts holding it on, i can barely line up one more bolt hole. does anyone have any experiance with this and how to make it work?
i'm going to be running 2'' billet wheel adapters for my street wheels to make up for this rear being 4'' narrower overall. if i cant run my factory backing plates/brakes, would it be a good idea to run the mustang brakes/axles and the wheel adapter in the link to run my f-body wheels? then i'd just use a set of summit drag wheels sized so i wouldn't have to use the adapters when i raced the car.

If I would have swapped brackets instead of swapping axle tubes I would have just used the mustang brakes. Its not like the back brakes are that important anyways. But thats just my opinion.
