Worn gears and 3.73's questions!

Worn gears and 3.73's questions! First of all, I have 3.23's in my A4. When I switch to 3.73's, will I be able to "hang" with the m5-6 or A5 cars longer? 'cause I'm stretching these gears now from 2-3rd... once I shift into 3rd, I think they hit 4th already and They just walk away....maybe my headers can help with that

and now I have a little problem, I hope it's gears and not the Tranny.
From Park to Reverse, The car moves forward a little bit and then it will grab and go in reverse. When I put it in Drive, it hesitates SLIGHTLY, is it Slipping?
When driving, shifts fine, downshifts fine, no grinding, no hesitating. I can't hear anything 'cause my exhaust is loud but nothing "feels" different. I've checked the oil, and it's full and doesn't smell. Is it Time for those 3.73's?

if there's that much of a hesitation i'd say yes it probably is slipping. I'd change the fluid and filter to see if that would help. Its not normal for it to take that long to shift into reverse
the 373s will help alot. I just went from 273 to 342's and it was a huge differnece in acceleration.
