What gear ratio?????
What gear ratio????? Hey what up guys, currently I'm in the process of building an 8.8 rear end for my 4th gen. I'm still not sure what gearing to go with. I have the m6 trans. I might be running a 26" tall tires... but not sure what gear ratio for it planning on going with 4.30's......
I'm using a housing from a fox body. The machine shop is making collars for for my set up have it all measured up so it will be stock length but not sure what to do with the TA mount yet

Verdad Gallardo You're the first person I've ever seen run a 24" tire but, 4.30's would work and give you alittle room to go faster if you add power in future.
4.10's + 24" + 122mph = 7000rpm
4.30's + 26" + 122mph = 6800rpm

hey thanks for the info @ BarneyMobile so by those numbers ill be hitting my rev limiter at the and of the track well track???? 
Lately I've been reading about 4.56 ratio on the m6 trans, what I'm trying to figure out is that I'm planning on running 4.30's on a 26 inch tall tires.... or the tire to small for that gear ratio???
