Default 4.11's in moser 12 bolt= 4 series?

I got a moser with a eaton diff. It has 4.11's in it which would mean I have a 4 series carrier correct? About to go to 3.73's since I am an auto now.

There are differently designed gearsets where as a 4.xx gear will go on 3 series carriers and vise versa a 3 series gear will go on a 4 series carrier. The best way to check would be to pull off the cover and locate the pn of your gear and research it to see what you have.

I have a moser 12 bolt and went form 4.1x to 3.73s. I had to change the carrier as well.
