Spicer drive shaft, stock?

Spicer drive shaft, stock?
What does it some in? Is it factory in any of our cars? All i remember seeing was three rivers if i believe, but i ended up with a aluminum drive shaft that says "Spicer" on the label and i want to know if it better than the aluminum stockers or if it is just a regular aluminum piece? I would like to put it in my Camaro, but launching at 55---6000 at the track would kill a stock piece.
Tapping on it makes me thing it is a pretty thick piece and not stock but i am probably 100% wrong.
I am thinking three rivers is iron and spicer is probably aluminum...
I am pretty sure it is a third gen drive shaft though, so i dont know if it will handle my level of abuse.

I wouldn't trust any stock aluminum shaft, Spicer or not if you are planning on any track use, especially with m6 cars. it sounds thick because there is a cardboard tube inside of it to dampen resonance. We suggest a good shaft and yoke assy from Strange or PST. feel free to call or pm us for more info or a quote... we are a direct dealer for both companies and have the best deals on any driveline parts for your car.

the stock aluminum shafts will live into the 11 second range on non transbrake a4 cars, but if it spins and hooks then it may become a pretzel. no way, no how on any M6 car will a stock aluminum shaft live under much of any track abuse... its a failure waiting to happen and can get ugly when it does. the damage a broken driveshaft causes will cost much, much more to repair than just buying a good shaft right from the start. not only that, that worthless broken shaft could be sold before hand and be good to help offset the cost of a new one.

Alright, i will just keep it around for a stock or mild application. A guy had a carbon fiber drive shaft i would have loved to have, but i was broke.
Been launching on my stock LT1 drive shaft pretty damn hard, went a 1.6 60 foot before i got kicked 2 weeks ago, and i had just lowered pressure to 10 in the tires and they wouldnt let me run again because of no fire suit. So this far, the stocker has dont ok.

The spicer shaft is better than the AAM..
Is the spicer shaft or the shaft with the spicer sticker using a 1330 series joint x 3r... or all 3r series
If it using 3r it is not a spicer shaft
