Default Cheapest to do a 9" center section?

Assuming you could get a 9" rear w/ good axles and everything else. What is the cheapest that you can build a center section for it that will work reasonably well? 700ish hp, street/strip.

Theres a seller on ebay named statticz229 or something like that that has the best deals.
Strange S case is 215 shipped
Daytona pinion supports are 65 to 110
gears are 120
spools are 100
bearing kits are around 80.

Watch the for sale section on yellow bullet and some other forums, good used center sections come up for sale all the time.

If you wait and watch awhile you can get one with the gears you want already setup for like $800 (with a spool).

I got mine with a moser nodular case, 3.25 bearings, 4.11 gears and a spool. Other stuff might come up for less.

Dang I didnt know you guys payed $800 for just the center. I have a 9" fbody correct rear with 200 miles, 33spl axles, ZERO miles since gear swap(all new bearings, etc..) spool, direct bolt in I was gonna sell for $1300. I think I should raise the price HAHA

I think he was talking new from a vendor or something like that. If you part it together and assemble it yourself you can do it a bit cheaper. Thats a great price on your rear. It should sell.

we stock all the parts for any center section you need and have the best deals on all of it. we are direct dealers for Strange, Moser, and Yukon so any combination of parts is available through us. you need to be careful of what you buy on ebay as alot of those parts are imported from china and the quality is not what you need for higher power applications. if you have a street rod or maybe a circle track car then you maybe able to get by, but for serious street strip applications then high quality parts is money well spent. its kinda the same difference between putting money in a 10 bolt or just doing it right the first time with an aftermarket rear that is designed for the abuse.

For a new center section from moser, complete, with the specs of the one I bought is $1215.

If you dont go with a spool the price just goes up from there.
