What hurts a Stock 10 bolt more???
1. Doing huge burn outs and breaking the tires free at every stop light.
OR
2. Getting you suspensions upgraded(LCA's Trq Arm) and having sticky tires launching?
Im trying to figure out whats the best option to go with to make my car faster/leave harder but keep my 10 bolt intact for a little while longer. I can either get an Adj. Trq Arm that mounts to the tranny $250ish, or get some 265/50/16 nitto's on stock rims $150. the car is just a bolt on car with LCA's and im having traction problems launching and keeping the tires on the ground(they are the trash stock Falken's) any input would be great guys thanks.

I had a thread on how to cure my wheelhop...I bumped gears from 2:73 to 3:73s and knew it wouldn't get any better...I talked to sam strano ( popular sponser) and he highly reccomended lcas and blisten shocks ...So I got both.....He stated you don't really need the relocation brackets unless you plan on lowering...either or...

What kills these rear ends quickest is shock loading. Banging gears, hard hole shots with tires that hook. They are happier in automatic cars as the torque converter is sort of a shock absorber.

you need to figure out your overall goals. tires will help as far as traction, but that traction can result in bad wheel hop without the proper suspension set up.. just be prepared to break something
DUDE, it's a vicious circle..

just pair one with the other...I got 3:73s paired them with blistens and lcas...converter next year, pair with sub-frames or torque arm....makes things so much easier...you'll end up buying them in the long run anyway....I know I'd rather buy new tires every 3 or 4 years then put slicks on a 10 bolt..everyone you CAN hook fairly well on good street/performance tires...you just have to work your throttle...your the one in control....I know at this point just by the feeling of pedal pressure when my tires will break loose ,or how to lauch (not quarter mile launch ) red light/stop sign launch safe and effectivly...
