Help!!

Found a limited slip posi off of a 96 camaro in good condition n really cheap.. i think it should bolt right on to my 01 base model but im not sure.. will it need to be modified..? if so how..?

The complete rear end.. im thinkin it should bolt right up but like i said IDK..

Bolt right in if its from the same generation of car.

a rearend with posi from a 96,have to assume you mean 96 Z28 since you mention posi.going into a 01 base model,again have to assume you mean V6.
Both 96 Z28 and 01 V6 had optional Traction Control 4 channel system and is not compatible with the standard ABS only 3 channel system. You have to make sure the replacement rearend is the same channel as the car it's going into.

Is a 96 and an 01 considered tha same Gen..? i would think so since their both f-bodies.

I see.. well i know for a fact that my car doesnt have traction control jus ur basic 3 channel ABS.. i need 2 find out about the rear end im tryin 2 purchase..
