Default How long for mwc 9" swap?

Just bought a mwc fab 9 and am trying to figure out what the install time will be. I have a new set of backing plates and tcs reluctor rings so the rear can be assembled before removing the old diff. Anyone care to share their experience and any tips?

it can be done in a day if everything goes smoothly. ive been working on mine for a couple days but i keep making dumb mistakes, aka forgetting things but thats because at times im trying to rush and ive been part hunting for awhile . best advice is take your time and be sure everything is right your not gonna want to keep messing around with it

Not to hijack, but I'm wanting to do the same as you and get new backing plates and reluctor rings. Got the plates but having a hell of a time finding 4 channel reluctor rings. Did you pick them up new or used and if new do you have a part number? Thanks.

I swapped my 10 bolt out for a new one yesterday with a friend in my driveway, it took us about 3 hours of actual work

I'm hoping to do this over a 3 day weekend, so far sounds like I should be in luck!

Been working on mine before and after work and bs like that for about a week but I also built my own housing for the first time and had to do some fabricating to fit my 11/16 wheel studs. I have less than a week in it still and I finished it today.

If your on your back a day. On a lift couple of hours if you can turn a wrench. Me and a buddy rip my old 9 inch out in about 15 minutes on a lift.

Pulled the 10 bolt out of my car and swapped in the 9" in one day easily with the help of another person. If one of you has done it before, it should be very easily doable in a day.

All depends, we usually have one ready to go in a few hours here in shop, I have done it off of jack stands and a lift and taken about the same amount of time.

A buddy and I did mine in about 3 hours(install of the 9"), he had to take some time to modify my QA1's for the inverted shock mounts otherwise it may have been closer to 2 hours for the install.
