Default Whos better or are they the same

Brute Speed or midwest chassis. I spoke with midwest today about getting a setup from them. I need a rear end period. I really would rather spend 350 to rebuild the stock but from what I've read here it's just not worth it. I am also wondering if any brake kit for a stocker will bolt right up to these custom rear ends. Also I am very new to this site and even the car and I am having trouble finding certain things on this site(ex.. rear end replacement write up/ cam install write up) I am trying to get the car ready for Car Craft Summer Nationals and they are here july22-24th. Is anyone from mn still by the way.

With either a standard Moser 9 inch rear or a Moser fabricated (M9) 9 inch rear it can be on it's way to you in two days. Check them out at this link and let me know if you have any questions. http://shop.brutespeed.com/82-02-F-B...ar-Ends_c5.htm Thanks. Bob

They are both great rear ends but there really is no comparison to the two when you talk features and prices. Our fabricated nine inch housing package falls in line with all other stamped housings on the market and comes with items like chrome-moly double adjustable torque arm that eliminates the bulky brackets and doesn't have an issue with hitting the floor like others, it also comes with a cross member to suit your needs. We have a long arm version and a short arm version torque arm with many different cross members.

Other items our housing has is drain plug, four hole relocator style LCA brackets, stock anti sway bar mounts, brake line clips, chassis brake hose mounting bracket, brake hose mounts and E-brake cable brackets(98-02) all as standard equipment no extra charge.

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Moser's definitely the way to go if you need a new rear now and don't have two to three months to wait for one to show up.

Here is a video of the Moser fabricated rear. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-M9-...r-M9-Video.htm

Thanks, the wait isn't all that bad especially considering your buying product from the people that not only spend the time to test it but build it all as well. We have a little bit of a time frame but that happens when you sell your own product.

At the end of the day how ever it only benefits our customers that we are also direct with all the major manufactures on the market and can put any possible combination together for you. We are not limited to one manufactures line.

http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-M9-...y-Complete.htm Link to this fabricated rear

The Moser M9 housings are made from 1/8" thick laser cut mild steel, which is fabricated from one Triangulated piece of metal and combined with a 3/8" thick face plate. The M9 comes standard with internal gussets and bulk heads. The Moser "M9" is ready to take on the toughest racing conditions. Seamless steel tubing (3" O.D., 1/4" wall), new brackets, new housing ends, and new bushings. Bolt-in housing and axle packages include new housing, Custom Alloy Axles (28, 31, 33, or 35 spline), bearings, studs and heavy duty retainer plates. Custom machined fill and drain bungs are standard on all M9's.

Includes 9 in. Center Section, Housing, M/E Custom Alloy Axles, wheel bearings, wheel studs, retainer plates, Pro Street gears, 1350 series pinion yoke, built in torque arm bracket and nodular iron case. Chrome Moly Torque Arm and Chrome Moly Transmission Crossmember are also included. It basically includes everything you need, ready to bolt-on. You will need a U-Joint, gear oil, vacuum line for the breather and two 3.00 inch exhaust clamp u bolts unless you order the rear with the sway bar brackets.

My '99 Z28 received the very first Moser f body M9 made. We installed it and with M/T drag radials ran 1.29 60 ft times right out of the trailer! This rear basically weighs the same amount as the stock 10 bolt, you get the best of everything with this fabricated rear!

No waiting around for two to three months to receive your rear like some other manufacturers, Moser ships these rears out in just two days! Allow an additional two days if you choose the powdercoating option.

Free Shipping!

Rears are shipped just two days after the rear is ordered! Please allow two extra days if you order the rear with the optional powdercoating.

Our base package with the choice of a long or short arm falls into the same price as everyone else's stamped style housing packages. We have gone above and beyond to get customers into a fabricated housing at a great price that no one else can compete with.

We have the only housing on the market that installs like putting the stock ten bolt back into the vehicle, we have made it that way because we not only build our own product but we also install it and try to simplify it as much as possible for our customers.

The fact we are always trying to improve our product is the reason it takes a little longer to manufacture. We not only do random test fitting to make sure we have no issues we work closely with past customers to see how our product is working for them years later.

At the end of the day though there is benefits and down falls to all the housings on the market, if our down fall is our time frame I will take that any day over other issues out there. We are doing our best to serve everyone and not out grow ourselves because keeping price down is our number one goal, and also keep focusing on building a quality product with unlimited options.

Keep in mind our build time has helped many get into a fabricated housing that they never thought they could afford because we do not require full payment up front. Granted if we had limited options we could also get housings out faster, unfortunately that wouldn't benefit anyone. The reason our builds are so popular is because we can and will put anything together for our customers. Not only can we build it we are direct with all the major manufactures and can get you great prices on anything you need to build your vehicle.

It is back up now but trust me you will not be dazzled by it that is for sure. Sadly our web site gets the least amount of attention around here, we are hands on type people and prefer to discuss things one on one so our customers know and understand what they are getting.
